  • Financial goals and concerns

IMPORTANT: We do not access your actual credit report, bank accounts, or verify financial information. All financial information is self-reported by you for educational assessment purposes only.

Realtor-Specific Information:

  • Real estate license number and state(s) of licensure
  • Brokerage name and address
  • Years of experience
  • Areas served
  • Specializations and certifications
  • Professional biography
  • Client reviews and testimonials (if provided)

Communications and Support:

  • Messages sent through the Service
  • Support requests and correspondence
  • Feedback and survey responses
  • Content of your communications with Realtors or other users

Payment Information (Realtors):

  • Billing name and address
  • Payment method information (processed through Stripe; we do not store full credit card numbers)

Payment Processors:

We use Stripe to process subscription payments. Stripe provides us with limited payment information (last 4 digits of card, card type, expiration date, billing address) but not full payment card details.

Email and Communication Services:

We use Resend for email delivery and Twilio for SMS communications. These services process recipient information on our behalf.

Analytics and Advertising Services:

We may use third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics) that collect information about your use of the Service. These services may use cookies and similar technologies.

Public Information:

For Realtors, we may collect publicly available information about your real estate license, disciplinary history, and professional credentials from state licensing boards and public databases to verify your credentials.

Haven Score and Assessments:

We calculate your Haven Score and other readiness assessments based on the information you provide. These derived scores and assessments are stored as part of your profile.

Matching and Recommendations:

We may generate recommendations for Realtors, Lenders, or educational content based on your profile, preferences, location, and behavior within the Service.

Aggregated and Anonymized Data:

We may create aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized data from the information we collect. This data cannot reasonably be used to identify you and is not considered personal information.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Display relevant educational content based on your Haven Score and profile

  • Notify you of updates, new features, or changes to the Service
  • Send marketing communications about our products and services (with your consent where required)
  • Conduct surveys and gather feedback
  • Facilitate communication between Buyers and Realtors

3.4 Improve and Develop the Service

  • Your Haven Score and readiness assessment
  • Any messages or questions you send
  • Timeline and homebuying goals

Buyer-Lender Connections:

If you choose to connect with or be referred to a Lender, we may share similar information to facilitate that connection.

Testimonials and Reviews:

If you provide a review or testimonial that you agree to make public, we may display it on the Service or in marketing materials with your name or initials.

4.2 Service Providers and Business Partners

We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf:

Infrastructure and Hosting:

  • Vercel (web hosting)
  • Neon (database hosting)
  • AWS or similar cloud services (if applicable)

Payment Processing:

  • Stripe (subscription billing and payment processing)

Communication Services:

Realtor Subscribers:

Realtors who subscribe to our Service receive access to Buyer profiles and information when Buyers express interest in connecting with them or are matched through our platform.

If we partner with Lenders, we may share Buyer information with them when Buyers consent to introductions or referrals.

We require real estate professionals to comply with applicable privacy laws and use Buyer information only for legitimate professional purposes.

4.4 Legal Compliance and Protection

We may disclose your information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to:

  • Enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements

5. DATA RETENTION

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Account Information:

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your information within 90 days, except as noted below.

Financial and Transaction Records (Realtors):

We retain payment and subscription information for 7 years to comply with tax and accounting regulations.

Communications and Support:

We retain customer support communications and correspondence for up to 3 years for quality assurance and legal compliance purposes.

Legal and Compliance:

We may retain certain information longer if required by law or necessary to resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or protect our legal rights.

Anonymized Data:

We may retain and use anonymized or aggregated data indefinitely for analytics, research, and other lawful business purposes.

Backup Systems:

Information may persist in backup systems for up to 90 days after deletion from active systems.

Real Estate Professionals:

Realtors and Lenders who use our Service are independent third parties. Any information you share directly with them (outside of the SimpliHaven platform) is subject to their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

10. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The Service is not intended for children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

If you are under 18, do not:

  • Use or provide any information on the Service
  • Register for an account
  • Make any purchases
  • Provide any information about yourself, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address

Note: Homebuying services are intended for adults who are legally able to enter into binding contracts. Users must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
